Rough Quest, 10 May 1986 – 19 October 2016. Bay gelding by Crash Course out of Our Quest. Rough Quest was a Thoroughbred racehorse most famous for his victory in the Grand National at Aintree in 1996, ridden by Mick Fitzgerald, trained by Terry Casey. Following the Grand National, Rough Quest was found to have a muscle enzyme disorder, winning just one more race in his career, before being retired later that year.
